HeEEEY, I'm AMANDA
Wedding + LIFESTYLE Photographer
I'm Amanda... and it is SO nice to meet you!!
I’ve been capturing memories for 17 years, but unlike some photographers, I didn’t come out of the womb holding a camera. My love for photography grew from something deeply personal—knowing my time with my mother would be short, I learned early on that photos mean EVERYTHING. In 2008, the year my mom passed away, I turned that love into a business, and it has been my passion ever since.
I’m married to one hell of a man—Chris. (Yeah, I cuss a little.) He can literally do anything, and on top of that, he’s ridiculously handsome. I’m beyond proud to be his wife. Together, we have five fantastic kids, a son-in-law, a sweet little grandson, and three dogs who keep us on our toes.
Oh! And here is a few extra things you should know about me:
HILARIOUS joke teller
Dinner-cooker, dish-washer, book-reader, tear-wiper, laundry-doer, house-cleaner, and occasional bride-calmer-downer
Gotcha-covered boutonnière-pinner + hard worker
I eat way! too! many! carbs, surf the internet too much, stay up too late, and wake up too early.
I overthink everything.
Chocolate or vanilla? Neither.
Clinique or MAC? Umm... Carmex.
Sensitive with an overly tender heart—and grateful for it.
Love ketchup, sweet tea, and spaghetti. Wanna win my heart? That’s how.
Sometimes I blurt stuff out… and sometimes that stuff is totally inappropriate.
I’m as real as it gets. What you see is what you get!
A jeans-and-t-shirt kinda girl—couldn’t care less about fancy clothes and would break my neck in heels.
I’ve realized my love for photography isn’t about creating the technically perfect image—it’s about making people feel beautiful, capturing pure joy, and celebrating life’s biggest moments.
When I was younger, I thought I was going to do something BIG—president of the USA, nurse, cosmetologist… turns out, I became a WIFE, a MOM, a LOLLI, and a PHOTOGRAPHER. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
If you want a photographer who keeps quiet, doesn’t hug you, won’t high-five your kids, and definitely wouldn’t have a drink with your mom—I’m NOT your gal. If you’re looking for someone cheap, generic, and willing to edit the ugly off your mother-in-law—I’m really not your gal.
BUT… if you want a photographer who will cry at your wedding, laugh for absolutely no reason, and make you feel like we’ve been best friends forever
—then I’M YOUR GIRL.
xoxo,
Amanda
